Statement Long

Statement from The Errigle Inn

We appreciate that this is an extremely difficult time and we would like to express our gratitude to everyone who has made The Errigle Inn a special place over the years.

In the interests of the safety of our employees and customers we feel that the time has now come to close the bar until further notice.

We will reopen, we will return, and we will be ready when the time is right.

This decision has been taken with a heavy heart.

There is still a great deal of uncertainty of how best we proceed, but for now we intend to wait and hope that The Executive will take appropriate and immediate actions to support all businesses.

Please stay safe and look after each other.

Statement regarding St Patrick’s Day – St Patrick’s day on hold for now

With the growing uncertainty and fear, we, like many others, are trying to figure out what is the best way forward and what is the right thing to do.

Conflicting advice around how to deal with these challenging times is adding to these difficulties.

Current good practice is that social distancing, along with exceptional good hygiene, may be a solution for our Industry. We have a great team of over 70 well trained staff and a large building with plenty of space to facilitate this.

St Patrick’s day is one of the busiest days of the year and we feel that social distancing will be impossible to safely manage. We have decided to close from Monday 16th March at 10pm and reopen on Wednesday 18th March at 1pm.   St Patrick’s day is on hold for us until further notice – we will celebrate with you again when we feel it is safe to do so.

In almost 85 years of business we have never before faced such an uncertain time, we are putting the safety of our employees and customers above everything else.

This is a rapidly changing situation and we are keeping a careful watch over the events as they unfold.  Please look out for each other and stay safe.  Keep up to date with our plans here.

We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause.

Fri 13th March 2020

To mitigate the challenges of the upcoming weeks as much as we can, and to limit the exposure of Covid-19 within The Errigle Inn, we will be embracing advices from government and working to maintain a safe environment for our employees, customers and suppliers.

We will alter our processes in line with any recommended Social Distancing Practice or Other Government Guidelines.

We will endeavour to offer as many of our products and services as we can and look forward to continue welcoming our customers to The Errigle Inn
