The Errigle Inn To Support the Ulster Women's XV

The Errigle Inn has been confirmed as the official sponsor of the Ulster Women's XV for the 2011-12 season...

Ulster's Imogen Porter kicks off a new sponsorship with the Errigle's Phil McGurran,
watched by her team-mates Teah Maguire and Zoe Templeton

The Errigle, one of Belfast's best known public houses, has built a reputation as one of the prime locations in Belfast to watch live sport. They provide dedicated coverage of Ulster’s away matches in the RaboDirect PRO12 and Heineken Cup, as well as Ireland games. The bar, which celebrated its 75th year of business last year, is also a lively music and entertainment venue and serves delicious food daily.

“The Errigle Inn are proud to be associated with the Ulster Women’s XV. Sport is very popular here at the Errigle and we take a keen interest in providing sports coverage for our patrons, especially rugby. We are delighted to support the ladies through our sponsorship of the Ulster Women XV and wish them the best of luck for the season ahead.” said Phil McGurran of The Errigle Inn

Women’s rugby in Ulster continues to grow and Team Manager Natalie Bryant believes the partnership will be a great benefit:

“The diversity of the clubs involved in Ulster squad this year is testament to the development of women’s rugby across the Province over the past few years. There are representatives from all clubs that competed in the All Ireland League last season, as well as a number of youth players that will make the step up to senior rugby in 2011-12. The addition of the Errigle Inn as a sponsor of the Ulster Women this season is a real boost and we will hopefully see further growth in the sport as a result.”
